City Limits Harley Davidson Grand Opening

Here's the most recent show we just did at City Limits Harley Davidson in Palatine, IL. We were approached to do a vendor spot as many people in the area are looking for good, affordable powder coaters. There was a decent turn out and a lot of bikes. Not to mention the HD girl contest.

The Trike:

CB500 frame and motor, GSX-R1000 Front end, Monoshock, and Tail Section, Custom Pipes and Swingarm.

The Moped:

Newest nearly completed build. Built as a birthday gift for the woman, it actually was quite a hit at the show. Still waiting on new rubber, but it came together nicely. We Powdercoated nearly the whole thing, Frame, fender, swingarm, motor, forks, etc. Color is High Gloss Teal on the frame, over a Sky White Base Coat, and Super High Gloss Clear. Motor was coated in Galvanized Blasted Aluminum. Swingarm was coated in Sky White with SHG Clear.

Tylers personal bike (soon for sale): CB650

Copper Vein Frame, Metallic Gold accents, Super Mirror Gloss Black forks, trees, misc brackets.

Sean's Bike: '75 Ironhead (for Sale)

Forks and triple trees coated in Gloss Black.

The newest project. Designed around a Kawasaki KZ440.

The frame was coated in Silver Vein. Fork Tubes, Trees, and Battery Box were coated in Black Chrome. Custom accents on fenders and Custom Sissy Bar made of welded chain. Paint was layered and sanded to a raw, weathered finished, and cleared. Should be done soon, and were really excited about this build.

More powder coat stuff we've wrapped up,

Apologies for lack of updates, its hard to keep up with this blog thing.. But here's some more shots of a few of the recent jobs we've been doing lately.

Mustang Cobra Valve Covers, Timing Belt Cover, and Coil Covers, shot in Wrinkle Black and Wrinkle Red, textured finishes.

We decided to do the Timing Belt Cover Wrinkle Black instead, it looks real sharp.

We Powder coated all the parts for this moped quite a while ago, and I randomly found it locked up down in the city, so here's the completed bike after assembly. The pictures look rather blue, but this is about as purple as it gets in person. The seat, frame, tank, forks, etc. All purple, totally rad.

Here's a few shots a DSM 4G63 valve cover we did for our friends Galant VR-4. To contrast the darkness of the car black car, black interior, black engine bay, he went with Sky White powder. He plans to shoot the middle section Wrinkle Black after he fabs up a new coil cover out of aluminum.

Here's a sneak peak of the new custom cafe were building. We completely disassembled the motor, split the cases and powder coated every single part, nut, and bolt, Super Mirror Gloss Black. Stay tuned for the finished product, it should be interesting.
