The other day I finally got around to blasting and shooting 2 of the steelies I had from my old truck. I shot 'em in Metallic Red. Compared the old red rattle can job they used to be, they are 100x better. The gloss, reflection, durability, and quality of powder coating isn't even a fair to compare with a rattle can job.
Metallic Red, rim one.
Rim 2.
The tires I just finished up as well. Nothin' like an angle grinder on rubber. My shoes, pants and sweatshirt were covered in rubber shavings, and the smell of burning rubber hasn't left me since..
Heres a shot of the tire and wheel mounted on the truck in the back of the bikes and frames piled up in the shop during spring cleaning.
I'll grab some more pics of just the wheels and tires on the truck when I finish up the rear wheels.
And finally, the surprise addition. Custom wide whites and fresh rims look great, but ya can't have white walls and steelies with out some solid hubcaps. So, some brand new chrome Moon reproduction hubcaps were sent to my house...
